Shay relocated to New Orleans in 2012 and has made her home in the Bywater area. Shay was noticed, discovered and cast while waiting tables at a Pancake House on Canal Street. She has since pursued her newfound passion of screen acting while being a mother and an employee to her mentor Dwight Henry.
