She was also part of Pledis' girl group, PRISTIN. PRISTIN disbanded on May 24, 2019. Before she became a trainee under Pledis, she auditioned twice for JYP Entertainment. In 2016, she was in the survival show, Produce 101, and ranked tenth in the final round, giving her a spot in I.O.I.
