Athena previously wrestled on the independent circuit, competing regularly for promotions such as Shimmer Women Athletes, Women Superstars Uncensored, Inspire Pro Wrestling, and Anarchy Championship Wrestling, for which she is a former three-time ACW American Joshi Champion.
